City of Waterford Crew 

 

The crew of the Irish Registered vessel City of Waterford [No 78110] were transferred to a British vessel after she had been in a collison on the 19/9/41 and sank. This British vessel was later attacked by German Aircraft. 5 members of the crew from the City of Waterford lost their lives.

Samuel Naylor, 16 Harbour Terrace, Bray, Able Seaman, aged 24.


P Murphy, 35 Smith Villas, Dunlaoghaire, Able Seaman, aged 32.


Edward Kearney, 9 Shelmartin Terrace, Fairview, Ordinary Seaman, aged 25.
